Brake Lining
Frontech’s brake lining products have a high coefficient of friction value to ensure performance at a range of heat values. A vehicle’s brake system can produce high levels of excess heat – and not just in the summer months! Winter driving can also produce lots of heat in the brake system due to increased levels of rain, frost, and snow which can make it harder for a vehicle to brake.
This is why it’s important for brake lining to be resistant to higher temperatures as well as being resistant to abrasion over long periods of time. Naturally, brake lining will wear and this is expected, however, we pride ourselves in producing brake lining that has a long service life and better protection against dust, water, dirt, and other particles to make driving safer for all road users.
Brake Sensors
Another extremely important component of the brake system is the brake sensors. Frontech’s brake sensors are designed to withstand high temperatures and assure excellent conductivity. Our electronic brake wear sensors can withstand thousands of miles of driving and continue to provide safety and performance to drivers across the world – no matter what type of vehicle they are driving!
Our precision-made sensors are always built to fit the vehicle they will be installed on, and we work closely with distributors to ensure the correct types are supplied for each make and model of car, van, or truck. To ensure our brake sensors are capable of passing the strictest quality control standards, our in-house quality assurance department tests brake sensors at 260°C (500°F) to ensure reliability. These tests ensure Frontech’s products meet and even exceed the strictest OEM standards internationally.
Brake Shoes
Our semi-metallic brake shoes ensure increased braking power and a shorter break-in time from first use compared to many other brands. Our precision-engineered design additionally makes it easier to get a good fit with a no-hassle installation on a range of vehicle types. Frontech’s brake shoes 100% asbestos-free and 100% copper free for extended wear and consistent braking performance even after years of use.
Alongside this, we offer an all-new steel formula brake shoe that is more durable and provides longevity and improved performance through its rust-inhibitive coating.
